Oregon Athletic Department Marketing and Promotions Intern, June 2006 – June 2007
• Executed promotional campaigns for all University of Oregon athletic events
• Evaluated and recommended different promotional opportunities and capabilities.
• Edited and developed video clips for the official Pac-10 website, www.goducks.com.
• Produced advertisements based on promotional opportunities in conjunction with our corporate sponsors on www.goducks.com.
• Maintained and updated website information regarding promotions, sponsors, available broadcasts, and athletic events.

Takeaway: I learned to work in a multi-million dollar organization and still have fun as I was once able to fill in as our beloved school mascot, The Duck

Upstream Advertising Account Planner, September 2006 – June 2007
• Researched and defined the 13-24 year old market to better position Coke Classic
• Analyzed MRI data, consumer trends, and the expanding viral market to gain insights
• Coordinated the development of creative materials for our advertising campaign
• Supported team members with humor and positivity to promote involvement and congeniality

Takeaway: I learned that working until sunrise on an advertising campaign is one of the best times to cultivate a stronger team bond

Blackberry Jam Festival Co-Manager, March 2006 – September 2006
• Developed a comprehensive public relations plan
• Researched and analyzed community trends and perceptions to better position the festival
• Generated record setting attendance and media coverage
• Conducted an ongoing evaluation that is now the foundation for the next festival

Takeaway: I learned that even though a project is not glamorous (the festival was held in a town of 100 residents) it can still be interesting and fun

LEADERSHIP

North Eugene High School Head Junior Varsity Football Coach, June 2006 – December 2006
• Inspired the social, physical, and educational development of 40 student-athletes
• Set the example of gentlemanly conduct and good sportsmanship
• Started a culture of positivity amongst the players and staff to always keep an optimistic and ambitious state of mind
• Improved record from 1-17 (2005 and 2006 seasons) to 4-5

Sigma Chi Recruitment Chairman/Top Executive Committee, March 2005 – March 2006
• Managed the recruitment of thirty-four new members into the Sigma Chi Fraternity
• Promoted recruitment events, the ideals of the fraternity, and the benefits of joining to all potential new members and their parents
• Involved alumni in the process of our recruitment to further alumni support
